![]() ![]() ![]() If you’re happily attached, you can still dive in-these are some of the greatest songs ever recorded, and that’s true whether you’re in your feelings or not. So if you’re lonely, fire up our playlist and cry along as you read our thoughts on each entrant. There was only one rule for the final ranking: just one song per artist was included to avoid Dolly Parton or even Drake from dominating. The list spans several decades and many different moods, but all are rooted in some type of pain. Below, you’ll find our ranking of the 50 greatest breakup songs of all time, as voted on by our staff. And in honor of Valentine’s Day, we decided to dig deep into the genre. We here at The Ringer believe that since heartache comes in many forms, so should the breakup song. What makes a song a “breakup song”? Does it have to be empowering, à la “I Will Survive” or most of the songs on Lemonade? Should it be for the lonely, like Carole King’s “It’s Too Late” or Bob Dylan’s “If You See Her, Say Hello”? Does it have to address the breakup in the lyrics? (Taylor Swift has many entrants in this category, and Marvin Gaye penned an entire album about his divorce.) What about songs with a famous backstory, like “Cry Me a River” or any track off of Rumours?

The second generation was equipped with NBC protection (only sometimes), night-vision devices, a stabilized main gun and at least a mechanical fire-control system. The first generation of main battle tanks was based on or influenced by designs of World War II, most notably the Soviet T-34. In 1973, Rolf Hilmes saw three tank generations and three "intermediate generations", which consisted mainly of upgraded vehicles. ![]() The military of the People's Republic of China also recognizes three generations of its own tanks. Soviet military planners organize tanks with the first generation of tanks up to 1950, and four generations of tanks (with the first main battle tank being the third-generation T-64), while American strategists organize main battle tanks into three generations. Main battle tanks are often classified as belonging to a particular generation, although the actual definition and membership in these generations are not defined. ![]() Chronological listing of main battle tanks British Centurion Main Battle Tank T-54 Main Battle Tank ![]() In the Dead Space remake, your old guns have new weight, thanks to the smart use of the DualSense controller and a redesigned dismemberment system. They’re a great incentive for backtracking or replaying the story again in New Game+. The security ratings are locked behind levels of clearance from level 1 and up, which grant you access to everything from secret doors hiding goodies to extra side missions, chests, and schematics. It’s a small inclusion, but it means that you’re often thrown into desperate struggles instead of just gingerly walking down a hallway or doing some light puzzle-solving. Circuit breakers let you kill the lights in an area to power up a lift or doors a set of doors you need to get to your objective, heightening the tension by forcing you to fight blind, in other moments, you can turn off the life support, keeping the lights on but meaning you’re running on limited time. New mechanics spice up the established formula, such as circuit breakers and security gate doors, which give you a way to modify encounters. If the Leviathan grabs you, it feels like your fault for not getting out of the way, not a failure of the fiddly controls like in the original game. It’s not that the fight is easier, but you have more responsibility for your failures. Boss fights, like your battle with the Leviathan, a gaping maw armed with grabbing tentacles, are still tough, but your new freedom of movement gives you finer control to dodge attacks. This is helped by the new zero-gravity flight controls, retrofitted from Dead Space 2. Some of the first game’s more frustrating moments have been retooled, to become more enjoyable, while still challenging. ![]() EA Motive hasn’t been beholden to the original game’s design, making transformative changes for the better. ![]() Nathan Howe)" by Backstreet Boys 2-Part Choir Audio - Part 2 Dominant Digital Audio for "I Want It That Way - 2pt (arr. ![]() I'm looking for rough percentages of each of the possible fates of the Star Destroyers backed by canon sources: x% were destroyed, y% remained with the compliant Imperial remnant in the Core and Inner Rim, z% were taken by the First Order, etc. ![]() Did the First Order construct Resurgent-class Star Destroyers out of the hulls of their Imperial-class Star Destroyers or do they still have all the Imperial-class Star Destroyers they took with them when they retreated to the Unknown Regions? The First Order seems to mostly use Resurgent-class Star Destroyers, which are designed from but considerably larger than the Imperial-class Star Destroyer. ![]() What happened to the tens of the thousands of Imperial Star Destroyers of the old Imperial Navy during the cold war and rise of the First Order? I would imagine that many of them would remain in the Core and Inner Rim with the part of the Imperial remnant that complied with the Galactic Concordance, but the hard-liners who formed the First Order probably took quite a few of them as well. In the ensuing cold war between the Imperial remnant and the New Republic, hard-line Imperials retreated from the Imperial territory in the Core and Inner Rim and retreated into the Unknown Regions to form the First Order. Indeed, under the terms of the Empire's surrender the Imperial Navy was allowed to continue operating within the borders of the territory controlled by the Imperial remnant. Only about 50 of them participated in the Empire's two biggest defeats (the Battle of Endor and the Battle of Jakku), so the vast majority of them were still operational when the Empire capitulated and signed the Galactic Concordance. There were approximately 25,000 Star Destroyers (mostly Imperial-class and Victory-class) in service of the Empire at one time. ![]() You should have at least $1,500 in traveler’s checks when you arrive to cover initial expenses such as taxi or bus fare, meals, first rent installment, books and supplies.
